Installing these washers will eliminate the embarrassing clunk noise when turning your wheel too far to the left or right. If the dealer is going to do the work under warranty, Just give them the TSB #. The dealer will probably have to order the TSB Ford washers first and the day that they are going to do the warranty work, ask them to use your washers. The TSB number for the dealer warranty repair is TSB 00-25-08 for 1999 -2000. Check with your dealer to make sure he (Ford) will pay for the install before you take your truck to the dealer. Here's a link for install pictures... This will explain where the washers go.

these washers would be the perfect fix to the clunking issue except for one thing. once i got the bolt out of the lower control arm i tried to fit the bolt through the washers. it did not fit and i mean barely did not fit. i had a machine shop drill out the center with a 5/8 bit. so little needed removed that i hope LFP reads this and makes the required adjustment.
other than that the washers worked perfectly. the pop noise is now gone.
