Lightning Force Performance, Inc. (LFP hereafter) has created this privacy statement in order to demonstrate our firm commitment to privacy. The following discloses our information gathering and dissemination practices for this website: LFP www.lightningforceperformance.com.

Please read the following policy to understand how your personal information will be treated. This policy may change from time to time so please check back periodically.

WHAT INFORMATION IS COLLECTED:
LFP requests some personal information on our online forms. When you give us customer feedback, we will ask you for the department you wish to reach, what kind of comment you would like to send, your comments, how we can get in touch with you (first and last name, e-mail address, daytime phone number, and fax number), if you want us to contact as soon as possible, and we will promptly contact you.  When you update or correct your information, we ask you for your first and last name, company name (if applicable), mailing address, suite, unit, or apartment, city, state, zip code or postal code, daytime phone number, fax number, e-mail address, and then promptly update or correct your information.  When you subscribe to the LFP e-mail list, we ask you for your e-mail address and promptly subscribe you to this list.  When you remove yourself from the LFP e-mail list, we ask you for e-mail address and then promptly remove you from this list. Wherever LFP collects personal information we make an effort to include a link to this Privacy Statement on that page.

HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION:
As a general rule, LFP will not disclose any of your personally identifiable information except when we have your permission or under special circumstances, such as when we believe in good faith that the law. LFP may, from time to time, send you email regarding our products and services by subscription only. In addition, LFP may occasionally send you targeted direct mail  or e-mail (separately or with your order).  This direct mail or e-mail may include products and/or services from companies that we feel may be directly related and/or of interest to you (i.e., a subscriber card for Muscle Mustangs and Fast Fords Magazine if you own a Mustang).  Only LFP (or agents working on behalf of LFP and under confidentiality agreements) will send you these direct mailings and/or e-mailings.  We may collect e-mail information only and use this in direct e-mail campaigns and/or share your e-mail with related companies for direct mail/e-mail campaigns for related products.  Your information will not be disclosed to those companies included in LFP mailings unless you reply to their offer.  On some types of LFP promotions, we will ask for your email address in order to update you on your score, entries, and status in prize drawings. When you participate in these types of promotions, you will automatically receive promotion-related email, unless you choose the no-email option that some promotions offer. Occasionally these promotion-related email messages may include targeted advertisements.

HOW WE USE YOUR IP ADDRESS:
We use your IP address to help diagnose problems with our server, and to administer our Web site.

LINKS TO THIRD PARTY SITES:
Please be aware that GMS Internet access partners, advertisers, and web sites that have links on our site may collect personally identifiable information about you. The information practices of those Internet access partners, advertisers, and web sites linked to LFP are not covered by this privacy statement.

WE DO NOT USE COOKIES:
LFP does not use cookies.  A cookie is a small amount of data that is sent to your browser from a web server and stored on your computer's hard drive.  However, some links in the LFP site may take you to third party sites which uses cookies.   For maximum security, we recommend modifying your browser preferences to reject all cookies and set security at maximum. If you choose to reject all cookies the LFP web site will still maintain its functionality (except for being able to download artwork and PDF files from our site).  However, some third party web sites may not work at all.  Also, you may want to have a personal firewall software product installed which will provide additional protection against some third party web sites from collecting your personal information.  LFP does not sell or rent user information to any third party.

HOW YOUR INFORMATION CAN BE DISCLOSED:
Third Party Data & Data in the Aggregate: Under confidentiality agreements, LFP may match user information with third party data. Also,LFP discloses aggregated user statistics (for example, 90% of our users are male) in order to describe our services to current and prospective partners, advertisers, and other third parties, and for other lawful purposes.  Other: LFP may also disclose account information in special cases when we have reason to believe that disclosing this information is necessary to identify, contact or bring legal action against someone who may be violating Lightning Force Performance’s Policy’s or may be causing injury to or interference with (either intentionally or unintentionally) LFP rights or property, other LFP users, or anyone else that could be harmed by such activities. LFP may disclose or access account information when we believe in good faith that the law requires it and for administrative and other purposes that we deem necessary to maintain, service, and improve our products and services.

SECURITY:
This site has security measures in place to protect the loss, misuse and alteration of the information under our control. LFP will never ask you for your personal information in an unsolicited email.  However, if it is necessary to do so, LFP may contact you by phone to verify your shipping address and account information.  Remember to close your browser window when you have finished your work. This is to ensure that others cannot access your personal information and correspondence if you share a computer with someone else or are using a computer in a public place like a library or Internet cafe.  As a global company LFP has users all over the world. When you give LFP personal information, that information may be sent electronically to servers outside of the country where you originally entered the information, such as to the United States or other countries. In addition, that information may be used, stored and processed outside of the country where you entered that information. Whenever LFP handles personal information as described above, regardless of where this occurs, LFP takes steps to ensure that your information is treated securely and in accordance with this Privacy Statement.  Unfortunately, no data transmission over the Internet or any wireless network can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. As a result, while we strive to protect your personal information, GMS cannot ensure or warrant the security of any information you transmit to us or from our online products or services, and you do so at your own risk. Once we receive your transmission, we make our best effort to ensure its security on our systems.  Please keep in mind that whenever you voluntarily disclose personal information online - for example on message boards, through email, or in chat areas - that information can be collected and used by others. In short, if you post personal information online that is accessible to the public, you may receive unsolicited messages from other parties in return.  Ultimately, you are solely responsible for maintaining the secrecy of your passwords and/or any account information. Please be careful and responsible whenever you're online.

CHOICE/OPT-OUT:
Our site provides users the opportunity to opt-out of receiving e-mail from us at the point where we request information about the visitor.  This site gives users the following options for removing their information from our database to not receive future e-mail.  You can be removed from the LFP e-mail list by managing your account which was assigned to you during your subscription signup. 

CORRECT/UPDATE:
This site gives users the following options for changing and modifying information previously provided.  For your protection, LFP will ask you for data authentication.  You must send us a photocopy of your driver's license and a printout of the form with your signature authorizing us to make such changes.  You can make corrections or updates to your information.
